Pet care experience
I have handled anything from a blind, diabetic Chihuahua to a giant, high energy Alaskan Malamute. My mally is currently 9 years old and still healthy and lives with my parents. I’ve trained him how to sit, down, stay, spin right or left, back up, wait, go home, paw, and he even knows how to wink on command! With my extensive knowledge of canine diet, supplements, and grooming, rest assured that your furbaby is in good hands. In addition, my volunteer experience at ASPCA on Erie Eve prepared me to handle a variety of dog and cat breeds. I live in a large two bedroom apartment with 1500 sq ft. I work from home 70% of the time and from a dog friendly WeWork office in Northern Liberties 30% of the time. A kennel is available for small breed dogs. I may also provide a bed, toys, collar, leash, bowls, treats, etc if necessary. However, I recommend bringing your own supplies. Food must be provided by owner due to the time it takes for pets to adjust to a new brand. Making sure your furbabies feels right at home or even better is my top priority.

Amy has taken care of pets growing up. She has had multiple dogs and knows how to care for pets well. Do not pass up an opportunity to have Amy as a pet sitter
I have known Amy for over 10 years since college time. During this time, Amy always had dogs at home and she is an exceptional pet caretaker. One of her dogs used to be a special needs dog that could barely see anything, Amy took care of him very well and it warms my heart every time thinking about her kindness towards animals. Throughout the years, Amy also dog-sit my Pitbull Rocky from time to time when I travel. Rocky loves Amy and enjoys hanging out with her. That was very important to me because Rocky was not a very well trained dog and he gets separation anxiety whenever people are not around him or if he goes to a new environment. Amy has a way to communicate and bond with animals, her patience and attention to details are amazing abilities and it is obvious to me that pets love her very much!
If pets can talk I’m sure they’ll tell you they had the best time with Amy in her warm and serene home. Humans say Amy is fun, kind, goofy, intuitive, personable and the BEST cook (unrelated but you have to know). As a pet owner you’ll want to know that Amy has wide experience in dealing with animals, yes, they’ll include the common dogs and cats but also animals you’ll be hard reach to find in suburban Philadelphia, such as alpacas and goats. Not only is she the perfect caretaker of her family’s Alaskan malamute (Silver), she was also the best dog walker/sitter for my border collie, Charlie, in New Zealand (yes, she has taken her skills international). I hope you’ll consider placing your pets in Amy’s very capable hands because I know she can do a great job .
