Experienced Veterinary Student Care

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Amy and I'm a 2nd year Veterinary Student at The University of Surrey. I’ve grown up with nervous and reactive Doberman’s and currently have a rescue staffordshire bull terrier and retired greyhound. I consider myself to have a kind and competent approach and am very confident dealing with behavioural (particularly reactivity) considerations and medical conditions including ones that require the administration of medications. More than happy to walk multiple dogs from the same household or house sit with multiple animals present. Having worked at a boarding kennels and the RSPCA I am confident in delivering a caring and compassionate service when looking after our canine friends. I also have plenty experience cat sitting having volunteered at the RSPCA cattery and house sat for our neighbours cats since I was a child. Plenty of references can be provided! I’m very passionate about canine welfare and behaviour which shows through my work - both you and your dogs will be very happy. I provide regular updates as I understand what it’s like trusting someone with your best friend as well as knowing the importance of keeping with a routine. I'm very respectful when house sitting and follow all instructions to the letter. Please do feel free to send a message to discuss this further. All animals are unique and I would love to hear more about your special companion and the individual requirements they have. All services are bespoke and am happy to adjust quotes to match the care level received. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
