Pet care experience
I'm happy to help enforce skills they already know such as sit, down, stay, come, kennel, etc. I've trained Southeastern Guide Dogs before and can bring those skills to the table. I can figure out their good spots to scratch so that they'll enjoy being around me and trust me. I have also been around all different sizes and breeds of dogs, so please don't worry about size and breed. If you ever want to go on a night out, I'm your girl! Evenings and morning will be my main availability! Your dog might also smell another animals on me and that is because my roommates have cats and a dog I help care for.

Amy was such a huge help when I needed someone to drop in to feed my cats when my friend no longer could over Thanksgiving. I really appreciate her making sure my cats were happy and fed!
Amy was so amazing with my two doggos -even with my special needs dog who has epilepsy. They were so loved and very well taken care of. I had no worries during my vacation, and it was because of Amy! 10/10 recommend her for any of your pet watching needs!

I currently live with one large dog and 2 cats and I care for all of them when my roommates are out for the night, leave in a rush in the morning, or out of town for the weekend. I enjoy taking the dog on walks since we live in an apartment so that she can get in her daily exercise and play! The cats love sitting on my lap while I watch tv, read, or when I’m crafting.

I love all dogs! I would like to know about any allergies or dietary issues beforehand. If they have any physical limitations, such as recent surgery, can't run, hearing/seeing disabilities, I'd like to know so that I can accommodate their needs.
A typical day
I love grabbing a pup’s favorite toy and getting them comfortable to be around me! I like to show them that I love being in their company as well and simply cuddling with them. If they enjoy car rides, I love to walk around the local parks such as Freedom Park, but I am also open to a walk around the neighborhood or backyard if possible. For high energy dogs, I unfortunately cannot play for long due to a minor physical disability.

I am a full time employee in South Charlotte and have availability most weekends. During the week, I’m available mostly in the evenings after work.
