Home away from home for you're dogs.

Pet care experience

I grew up around animals so I have always took on the feeding, walking and cleaning roles.I have been caring for and walking dogs for the past 5 years through other sites and friends and families. I treat any animal who stays with me as I would my own. Having and training a puppy in the past sparked my intrest in the training side of dog care, and i will continue to educate myself in it. I have so much love and patience for all animals and I am considering going into fostering aswell.

Amy was amazing! During a very stressful week, Amy came to the rescue and was the perfect sitter for our high-energy, young black lab named Bijou. Our furbaby got so much love, attention, playtime and outside adventures during her day with Amy and was always worn out and happy when she arrived home. Amy was patient, reliable, and sent great updates and photos throughout the day. We would absolutely use Amy's help again in the future (and Im sure Bijou would be so excited to see her new best friend any time!).

Amy looks after our dog Betsy who is a nervous rescue and she is outstanding with her! Betsy is very timid and hasnt had the best start in life but with Amys guidance and care Betsy has really grown in confidence. Amys patience is second to none and nothing is ever too much trouble when it comes to takimg care of our beloved betsy . We trust Amy implicitly and feel she is a natural caregiver to animals we would be lost without her and so would Betsy .

I have a fenced garden with a decking area for the dogs if they need to use the backyard for the toilet, but I also live close to numerous amounts of outdoor spaces including Victoria park, Orangefeild park, Stormont and have easy access to transport to Holywood and beaches. There is also an entrance onto the Comber Greenway at the back of my house so I try to take the dogs there as often as possible for the bathroom. I love to take the dogs out into nature for their exercise and then use my home as a calm, cosy and relaxing inviroment where the dogs can feel at home and comfortable on either beds, sofas or blankets. I can also use a create if that is what they are used to, but i am more than happy to allow them to sleep in with me also. Whichever they are happier with. I understand that owners have certain house rules with theire pets and I will abide by what you feel is best for them. I have an indoor cat who is very used to other doggos being in the house. He is a calm, friendly, understanding boy who doesn't mind sharing his space and will just take himself off if the dogs are being too hyper for him. The house is over three stories which gives us plenty of space to play and relax indoor if needed also. I want you're dogs to feel like they are having a holiday at my house while you are on yours too, so there will always be plenty of play and cuddles.

Information Amy C. would like to know about your pet

I would ask that the dogs are house trained, with the acception of puppies in training. Let me no if you're dog has any allergies, dietary requirements, special needs or any other requirements that i can accommodate too. They will also need to be good with cats and upto date with their flea\worm and vaccinations when boarding.

A typical day

My favourite place's to take the dogs are Helens bay or seapark beach. In general tho i love to see them happy so any information about their favourite spots is great too. The forest walks in stormont are also a big hit with them. I like to keep their minds stimulated with games and any training they are doing at present aswell.

I am currently taking some time away from my full-time job as a senior stylist in a hair salon. Therefore I am extremely flexible at the moment and I'm considering doing dog grooming further down the line.
