I've worked with animals in all settings since I was a teenager, including training, fostering, and volunteering with horses. Not only do I teach horseback riding lessons, but I have successfully fostered five dogs to their forever homes in Los Angeles.

Amy did a great job taking care of Louie for a day! She was extremely attentive, took him on plenty of walks, brought him along for outings and errands, and gave him good exercise time at the park. She was very communicative and kept me updated with frequent texts and pictures. Would highly recommend!

Amy has been an absolute delight to work with! Grizzly is always so excited to see her and comes home happily tuckered out from a big day of play. She's good about sending pictures of their adventures and also goes out of her way to let me know what treats/food/toys Grizzly has been enjoying. She's just all around kind and extremely reliable. I put the needs of each dog first when they are in my home or being walked. Consistency is key; however they are trained at their home, is how I will interact with them on walks and in my house. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate all bathroom break schedules, including that of young puppies. I also have a gated in yard for them to sunbathe and play.

Ahead of spending time with your furry best friend, I would love to know the following: - Are there preferred commands? - Do you allow socialization with dogs and humans? - How are they on a leash and with obedience? - Are they more food motivated or affection motivated? - How much exercise dog they need daily to be appropriately stimulated?
A typical day
A typical day with me and a dog is a lot of walking and an obligatory stop at my local, dog-friendly coffee shop. I love to walk for their exercise but also allow for interaction with humans and other dogs as appropriate.
