Hello, I’m Amy-Beth. I run a professional Dog Walking & Pet Popin service called Furry Popins. With over 25 years of experience with animals, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am a Qualified in Level 2 OFQUAL Canine Care & Behaviour, DBS Checked, Fully Insured and Pet First Aid & CPR Trained and also having trained & worked in the NHS for nearly 20 years I am able to handle emergency situations with a level head. At Furry Popins, our mission is to provide the highest level of care for your pets while providing peace of mind for their owners. We strive to create pet services that are individualised to your pets specifics wants and needs, working with you to get to know them and to make sure you and your pets get the most out of your walk or visit. I am a full-time professional pet sitter, so can work around your needs. I do have a number of regular weekly clients, but otherwise can be flexible to accommodate you and your pets schedule. I am passionate about Positive Reinforcement Training, and only ever use Fear Free based methods with your precious pups (and my own!).

We are so pleased we chose Amy-Beth at Furry Poppins. She was so good with our old cat and gave us regular updates, lots of cuddles and tending to his medical needs, cleaning and grooming. We felt so much more relaxed knowing he was being well cared for by her. Amy-Beth was very professional and undertook a house visit beforehand to our cat and fill in paperwork. I am Pet (and human!) First Aid & CPR Trained, with a Level 2 OFQUAL qualification in Canine Care & Welfare. I also have many years experience of looking after disabled and special needs pets, including being trained in subcutaneous injections and tube feeding. As a professional, my SUV car is fully set up to transport your pets safely, including Dog Guard, Harnesses and Crates as necessary, and will shortly be obtaining my Dog Walking Van with customised crates!

I have an intake form that I will email you ahead of time to gain all the necessary details to take the best care possible of your pets. I will also carry out a free meet & greet to get to know you, your pets and their household, and to collect any keys as necessary.
A typical day
Pop-In Includes: Toileting, Cuddles and Playtime, fresh water, food, medication, house check, photos/videos & update sent. Optional extra of use of our 'Enrichment Library' for dogs or cats. 1-hour Group Walk Includes: 1 Hour off lead pack walk in a secure forest or field with up to 5 other dogs that have been assessed for socialisation. Safe transportation with crates and/or harness. Playtime (with other dogs and fetch etc), recall training/reinforcement as needed, treats and water provided. Dog will be showered of any mud as necessary & towel dried before being brought back home. Photo & Video Updates shared on Social Media. Time out of house estimated to be 2-2.5 hours. 1-hour Solo Walk Includes: 1 Hour walk/snifari in a park/countryside location, with lead-free time if appropriate. Safe transportation with crates and/or harness as appropriate Playtime (fetch etc). Recall and/or Loose Lead training/reinforcement as needed. Treats and water provided. Dog(s) will be showered of any mud as necessary & towel dried before being brought back home. Personalised Pupdate and Photos/Video of the Walk. Time out of house estimated to be 1.5-2 hours. 30 Minute Solo walks also available.

Includes: 1 Hour off lead pack walk in a secure forest or field with up to 5 other dogs that have been assessed for socialisation. Safe transportation via my insured SUV that is kitted out with crates/Dog Guard/ISOFIX harness seatbelts (and coming in the next few months a fully customised Dog Walking Van!) Playtime (with other dogs and fetch etc), recall training/reinforcement as needed, treats and water provided.
