Pet care experience
I've dog sat for my friends and family for years-everything from my friends chihuahua to my personal pet, Albert the Great Dane. I love dogs and now work from home, so naturally thought I'd try out Rover to serve my neighborhood. We used to foster for a rescue in Kansas before moving here and now we foster off and on for El Paso County Canine Rescue. So, our most recent addition to the family, Jocko, was a foster fail. I also used to volunteer walking dogs at an animal shelter.

Currently we live in a duplex with a fenced yard. We try and let the dogs settle in to start with before deciding what care they need during their stay. We prefer kennel trained pups as ours use their kennels as their dens.

Please let me know any quirks your baby has ahead of time. Such as leash triggers/issues, treat approval, any health or otherwise concerns, and how they are with other dogs. More information is always better than less!
A typical day
A well exercised and stimulated dog is a happy dog! I'll take the owners lead on what their baby likes and dislikes. We can play with toys or go on walks, maybe even have some pet parent approved treats. I hike a lot with my personal dogs. Our old guy isn't super active anymore and our puppy is crazy active, so we can handle anything in-between.

I now work from home and can be fairly flexible on check ins, walks, etc. I do not have a set schedule of availability, so will work with you on arranging times.
