Pet care experience
I really love animals especially dogs and cats, big or small, but I don't have my own because I travel frequently for work. I would love to help take care of your pet! I used to train dogs for my neighbors, I’ve fostered two litters of kittens, grown up with multiple dogs, and helped roommates with dog/cat care.

Amy helped me take care of my dog for a year just after college. Amy I GREAT with dogs, she understands that an active pup is a happy pup. Amy loves to walk, jog, run and be outdoors - so she will spend quality time exercising your dog(s)! Amy has helped me walk and exercise my dog, to make sure he gets regular potty breaks. She also helps watch her parents two dogs when they go on vacation. She can handle multiple dogs, and loves to help you keep your dogs routine! Amy also enjoys trying to teach dogs new tricks like sit, stay, roll over! She is AMAZING with animals!

I have a small apartment that is surrounded by many safe walking trails and sidewalks, both urban and quieter areas depending on what your pet needs. I don't mind animals on my furniture but can follow and respect whatever rules you prefer. Consistency is key with training and behaviors!

It is important for me know what your dog will get into so I can make sure to make my apartment safe and enjoyable for them. Also, important to know if they are allowed on furniture, need to be in a crate when left alone, how they do with other dogs.
A typical day
I typically try to take dogs on a walk at least every 4 hours except when I'm at work. I will usually walk dogs about 1-3 miles at a time. I can jog with your dog if that's something they enjoy. When I'm not working or walking, I will usually try to snuggle up with your pup on the couch if they let me. I also love it when a pup knows how to play fetch. If permitted, I may even try to teach your dog a new trick.
