Pet care experience
All my life there have been dogs in my family (mainly rescue dogs), it would feel strange to be in a house without a dog - but I started to take on responsibly caring for them about 5 years ago. I am experienced in walking, washing, feeding and - most importantly -playing, and I am often asked to house-sit for my Mum's dog, Fred. As a student home for the summer, I am likely to be available whenever is needed. Whatever your fluffy friend needs, I am happy to give (be it waking up at anti-social hours for a walk/to let them go to the loo, running with them to give them proper exercise, or just a cuddle). Equally, in my first year of university I volunteered at the Sheffield Cat's Shelter which, although not specifically dog related, involved cleaning the cats' living quarters, feeding them, and playing to ensure they received a high standard of care.
Reviews
Amy is very loving with all animals and my own dogs love her. She controls them well when meeting new people and on walks. When keeping to a schedule, she follows instructions well and precise to make sure the dogs aren’t left alone and are fed on time. Would highly recommend.
Amy is a natural when it comes to all animals, especially dogs. She is patient and genuinely enjoys spending time looking after dogs. I guarantee she will be very accommodating to your needs and will update you as much or as little as possible about your dog when away. She will treat your dog like it is her own with lots of love and attention. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a dog sitter, I couldn’t think of a safer pair of hands.
