Pet care experience
Taking care of pets is truly my passion and life's work. I have been an animal lover since I was a child which then led to my career choice of working in the veterinary field as a certified vet technician. While I have worked in the veterinary field for 16+ years, I have personally had pets for over 30 years and have been pet sitting for over 10+ years. I have experience with a wide range of critters: dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, puppies/kittens, some reptiles and birds as well the little critters! (bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, ect). I love them all! I am comfortable with multiple animals homes, administering medications, light grooming and caring for the young or "oldie-goldies" as well. My fur babies are MY "children" and I will care for Yours as if they were my fur children as well!

Amy was AMAZING! She saved us from a last minute cancellation. She was fast replying to me on our request for a House Sitting. She kept great communication through out the whole stay. She spend most of the day with our babies so they wouldn’t felt left alone. Our babies loved her, and we vacationed in peace knowing that they were in great care. She followed our directions to the T and always asked questions as what to do extra for our babies or our home. Overall, she was reliable, responsible, caring, lovable with our babies, and respectful to our directions. She left our home spotless. Thank you Amy. We will see you soon! Amy has worked as a certified vet tech at a number of Vet Clinics/Animal Hospitals. She has worked as a pet sitter in the past. Knowing the veterinarians in these clinics and animal hospitals, she has gained their confidence, and has often been asked to pet sit for their own animals. She is knowledgeable about needs of dogs and cats and how to care for them. I strongly recommend her as a caregiver for your animal family members.

Amy is great with animals! I know she has a couple pets of her own and used to be a vet tech for many years. My cat is very particular and only likes me and my husband. But she actually liked Amy and let Amy pet her! She usually hides from everyone. I will definitely use Amy the next time we go out of town!

I prefer to stay with your pet(s) in your home, where they feel most comfortable and safest. It is truly the best situation for them, to help reduce the amount of stress they may experience during your absence. Kennel settings and other homes can be quiet stressful on pets and reducing your pet's stress is my goal. It is truly the best way to keep them happy and healthy as well! I prefer to follow their normal daily routine (feedings/treats/walks/play-times/medications) as close as possible to keep things consistent and comfortable for them.

I am currently only working part time so I have a lot of flexibility, for weekend stays or during the week as well. Since I would be staying at your place, I will keep them as close as possible to their normal daily routine.
