Pet care experience

Hi there! Between growing up on a farm, surrounded by animals, working at a boarding/grooming facility for several years to now, dedicating time with non-profit, Dogs that Help, we love to care for animals! Through this non-profit, who provides service dogs to disabled Veterans, First Responders and others in need, we assist with training the dogs for service work! Therefore, we have successfully trained our Golden Retriever and Labrador & continue to volunteer our time to training more service dogs for veterans! Furthermore, my husband and I also have spent countless hours of our time on basic obedience training, therapy training, service training & leash training. We hope to add training to our services in the future. Our care goes beyond dogs though, we are very familiar with caring for cats, bunnies, lizards, fish, hamsters, chickens and more!

I really appreciated Amy A. her husband and little boy taking care of Jackie, Maddie and Gertie. From the pics that they sent me it looked like my three cats enjoyed their company and were fed in a timely manner. I would certainly recommend them to be pet sitters to anyone who needs their pets taken care of when they are out of town.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s care & safety is our #1 priority! Here are the safety precautions we take to ensure your pet is getting the best care during their stay: Tether: While our yard is not fenced, we have tethers & extra leashes for taking your pets outside. They will never be left alone outdoors. Apple Air Tags: Every dog will get an Air Tag attached to them while in our home. With this added protection, we want to ensure your pet is quickly located in the off chance they run out the door or break loose from the tether or leash. Cameras: In the event we have to leave our home for an errand or appointment, we have a Furbo camera & multiple other cameras covering our home so we can always monitor your pet while we are away.

Information Amy A. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs, medications or any concerns of anxiety. We know being away from their family can make a pet anxious, so we want to try our very best to make them comfortable during their stay with us.

A typical day

Whether it’s playing fetch, frisbee or just belly scratches, we do it all! There is nothing better than a nice day of running around with the dog to play and wear them out! Our calm neighborhood is great for walking & playing! Our home is very spacious with a large yard, so lots of room to run & play inside and out! If your dog is a swimmer, we have a large lake in our backyard they’re able to play and swim off some energy! We have plenty of dog toys & antlers/bones to keep them busy during their stay. However, feel free to bring their bed, crate, etc. to make them the most comfortable during their stay!
