Hello my name is Amy! I have grown up with animals my whole life and would try to catch any critter as a child. My first job was a kennel attendant at a veterinary clinic which gave me experience in the field and helped me decide to become a veterinary technician. I graduated with an associates in veterinary science and passed the state board exam. I am currently working at a busy animal clinic continuing to gain more knowlege and utilize my skills that i have learned tjroughoit my career. I'd like to fill my time by giving love/attention to other pets while their owners are away/at work. Not only do I have experience but knowledge with caring for animals. I have experience not only with dogs and cats but lizards(geckos/blue tongue skink), rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, etc. I can care for animals that need medication administered both orally and by injection. I also offer other services like nail trims & ear cleaning plus administer any monthly preventatives.

Amy was great! My cat is usually shy of strangers but he was a purr machine with Amy.
Amy would babysit my pitbull Edith who was very aggressive with other dogs and when walking. Amy was able to handle her and calm Edith’s anxiety when walking. I never had any doubts when leaving Edith with Amy. She’s very good with dogs.

I currently have 2 dogs that love to play in my big fenced in yard. I also have a cat who is fine with my dogs but prefers to be soaking up the sun in our sunroom if he's not waiting in the pantry for his next meal! We also have a blue tongue skink that we take out daily. We have plenty of toys and treats as well!

A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks which can help with socialization and relieve boredom. Playing with them with their toys and give them extra scratches, belly rubs, etc.

Availability
Being a stay at home mom and now that my kids will be in school for 7 hours on the weekdays gives me time to care for other pets while away. Weekends I have more flexibility with my husband being home.
