Four-legged sitters!
Pet care experience
My husband and I both grew up with dogs and my husband has been a long time cat owner as well. We have taken care of pets for family and friends over the years. Together we have a sweet golden retriever, Maui, who loves everyone! We have had such a positive experience with Rover sitters for our pup and want to also provide that same love and care to your pets! My husband works from home and I work remote 1-2 times a week. We spend time exercising our dog morning and night, squeezing in an afternoon walk during lunch. We take our dog to the nearby dog park, along the bike trail, and for more off leash time at a nearby field. Weekends include some local hiking/swimming too. We have a two bedroom apartment with lots of outdoor access. We also have a balcony with a mesh door that pets can go in and out of. We use pens and pet gates when needed.

James and Amrita are wonderful people and took great care of our dog for a few days. You can see their patience, caring and affection for dogs when you meet them even for a few minutes. Highly recommend.
Amrita and James were amazing with taking care of my Husky Emma! They kept communicating with updates and pictures so I was very comfortable. Emma was also comfortable the first time they met like as if they were both dog whisperers?? Emma and their pup Maui had a blast and not to mention they have a fenced grass area where they could go off leash and run around! I could not be any happier with their service and Emma will definitely stay with them again! Thank you so much for being the best??
Absolutely wonderful dog sitters! They treated my dog just like their own and sent lots of updates. They were loving, responsible and communicative throughout his stay. Will definitely book with them again!
James is quite the dog whisperer! He is very good with high spirited dogs and it would be a treat to have him walk your dog. Very patient and a true dog lover. but not a pushover.

A typical day
We will explore the neighborhood via long walks along the Jeffrey Open Space trail and neighboring parks. Off leash time in the local dog park or community dog park is a common activity! Depending on interest, we love taking the dogs to the beach. Playing fetch, tossing a frisbee around and belly rubs help pass the time. We also like to do scavenger hunts with treats for mental stimulation and a fun activity :)
