I have been volunteering at the local animal shelter for almost 2 years. This has allowed me to gain experience working with many dog breeds of a wide range of ages.

Amrit did such a great job with our three cats! She was very punctual and kind. Loved getting pictures of them everyday and it was definitely comforting knowing someone was checking on them while we were out of town. Would definitely rehire!

Amrit is awesome! She did great with both of our dogs. One is a needy Husky that needs long walks and the other is an elderly Maltese poodle that needs special attention. Armit was very quick to respond, and took direction and gave proper care to our dogs. I highly recommend Amrit to take care for your dogs too!

I am able to walk dogs, up to 150lb, on a leash easily. I can work around many behavior issues a dog might have on walks such as; dog reactivity, leash puller, and aggression.

A typical day
I’d take dogs for a walk around the parks and creek trails nearby. If the dog is very energetic, I will use mental and physically stimuli to tire out the dog such as playing fetch or going through basic commands.

Availability
I am a student at Carrington College in the veterinary technician program with classes Monday through Thursday. This allows me to be available most of the time on Friday and the weekend. Even with my class schedule, I am available Monday through Thursday mornings and evenings.
