Pet care experience
I decided to become a part of Rover to provide loving care to fur babies while providing their families with peace of mind while they're away. I was born into a family of dog lovers and was raised up with my first best friend, my father's Rottweiler puppy, Zeus. My love for dogs blossomed at a pretty young age and stuck with me throughout my life. Zeus was a part of our family up until I was around 10 years old. As an teenager, I spent my spare time walking some of my neighbor's dogs to make some extra money. I've also owned various animals like a ferret and a cat growing up. Caring for animals is not only fun but it's also rewarding. An animal's love but a dog's love especially is really the best medicine, even when you aren't sick. They just bring so much happiness. My husband, Sean, is military and I am currently a stay at home mom so my availability is very flexible! Sean and our four year old son are also huge dog lovers, Sean more than the both of us. We're always looking forward to meeting new pups and learning how to adapt and provide each unique pup with the specialized love and care they need.

Amirra was absolutely amazing with my puppy Cedar. She was able to help me out greatly with little notice and took wonderful care of Cedar while I had to work. While at work I received picture updates of Cedar during his stay, and I got a great run down of how he acted while I was gone when I picked him up. She was also great with Cedar while he was there. You could tell from his energy when I picked him up that he had had a great time with her. I would definitely recommend Amirra to my friends, and plan on checking with her first if I need a sitter again in the future.

Amirra and Desean were awesome!! They sent a ton of pictures and my puppy seemed very happy and like he had a great time with them! Puppies definitely are a lot of work and it seems they were super accommodating and attentive for our little guy!!

All dogs must be kid-friendly! I do have a small child that will be present. Please let me know any eating/sleeping schedules that you would like to stick to while your fur baby is in my care.
A typical day
We'll go on frequent short walks/jogs to potty, enjoy the fresh air and to run down some energy. Your dog will have our full attention. Lots of play, love and cuddles. I'll treat your pet like they are my own. IMPORTANT INFO, PLEASE READ: • Boarding - Please bring your dog's crate with you; even if they aren't fully trained. I'm happy to help work on that. All pups are kept on the main floor, which is where we also spend most of our time so they will rarely be alone. If I have to step out momentarily for whatever reason, they will be crated for their own safety. Dogs are only crated if I have to step out and at bedtime. ***Boarding drop off is between 2PM-8PM. Boarding pick up is no later than 6PM on set pick up date. I understand that things happen (flight delays, traffic, etc) so if you need to drop off earlier or pick up your fur baby later, I’m happy to extend my services for a flat rate fee of $20 that will be applied to your booking confirmation.*** • Doggy Daycare - Please, bring your dog’s crate! Dogs roam freely in my home but in the event of an emergency or me needing to step out shortly, your pup’s crate is the safest place for them to be. ***Daycare drop off/pick up times are between 7AM - 6PM. Care outside of those hours is available at an additional charge that will be applied prior to confirming your booking.***
