Pet care experience
Hi there! My family and I have had pets (dogs, cats) for most of my life and I spent 1.5 year in college volunteering at the humane society in Bellevue where I trained and walked dogs. As I’ve moved out, started working and traveling it has been difficult to commit to getting my own. I definitely miss having a dog around and would love to take care of yours. I’m very open to boarding dogs in particular since I work from home!

Amirah helped me out on late notice and was a breeze to communicate with. My dog was sufficiently nourished, walked, and loved. I’d leave my dog with her again in a heartbeat.
Amirah and her SO were fantastic. They were great with communication and making sure to send photo updates throughout my dogs stay with them. This was my first time using rover and they eased a lot of my anxiety about leaving my pup with someone new. Thank you!

I live in apartment but close to several trails and a dog park only a few minute drive away. Since I don’t go into the office the apartment shouldn’t be an issue, the pup would still be able to get enough outdoor time!

I do like taking dogs out for long walks, either hiking or to the dog park. Let me know if your dog is unable to do either of those or if there is anything to be aware of!
A typical day
I love finding new trails in my general area, taking dogs hiking or going to the dog park. If your dog likes to relax and cuddle, I’m all for that as well. Let me what works best and I’ll adjust the day to your dogs needs!
