Pet care experience
I’ve always loved having a dog at home. Growing up my family had multiple big dogs, and over the past 5 years I’ve fostered over 10 dogs up until they were adopted, including some puppies! Although I would love to have a dog of my own, I can’t make the 10+year time commitment at this time. Rover has been an amazing way for me to spend time taking care of dogs without having one of my own!

Roxie had a great time with Amira. Amira was extremely flexible with drop off / pickup timing and looked after Roxie very well.
Amira is reliable, responsible, and energetic, which are qualities that I believe would make her a great caregiver. She is caring and attentive and would take care of any dog as if it were her own. Amira has her own pets and has lots of experience looking after other people's pets. I recommend Amira for any caregiving needs you and your pet may have!

A typical day
At home lots of cuddles, pets, playing with toys. I live in Gramercy and typically walk to the East River walkway or to Madison Square Park.

Availability
I’m currently in medical school, our lectures are recorded so I’m at home almost the entire day except for some mandatory 2-3 hour sessions I attend nearby. I walk 6-8 miles every day and can provide multiple walks and potty breaks throughout the day for your dog!
