Professional architect with a heart for animals, fully available for all your needs & I only provide 1on1 service, you pet will get ALL my attention! Please see my preferences at the end. I’ve always been an animal lover, especially cats, and I have lots of experience in animal (and child!) care, including seniors, disabled and ill cats/dogs. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish... even bunnies! I love to stay active & moving with long walks, but I also love to relax and cuddle with furry friends. I have a large apartment with a doggy corner, no pets or children, and a fenced green backyard. I live in a great neighborhood with tons of green space! I have car for any transport needs. I’m experienced with medicine and injections. I have a flexible schedule and I can accept last minute requests. I pride myself on being reliable and trustworthy, and I will ensure that everything is taken care of beautifully. My preferences: *For any bookings - I prefer walkable distance bookings. If your location is more than a 10min. drive, I will charge +$5/day. *For walking - Please ensure your dog is leash trained! I am happy to assist in leash training for a higher fee. *For boarding/sitting in my home - I require house trained animals. I do not crate unless it is required and provided! *For sitting in your home - I prefer sitting in the Fairmount/Spring Garden neighborhood. The best and great communication
Amira came through with a last minute drop in visit. This is the second time Archie got to hang with her and it went smoothly! Consistent communication and responsiveness.
If you're in Philly and need a cat sitter, Amira is the one to go to! We were away for 2 weeks and our cat, Chai, was in amazing hands. Amira sent frequent updates, photos, and was even willing to stay extra when needed. When our cat got a scratch injury, she offered to take him to the vet and care for the injury and was always in communication with us about it. Chai is usually pretty shy, but he opened up right away to Amira and you could tell he really loved her company. We feel so grateful for Amira! ❤️
Amira has been life saver on multiple occasions, to be able to schedule last minute walks and yet super caring with my dog! I especially appreciated her promptness with responses, communication and updates with pictures!!

A typical day
I am up early and WFH often, and I have the flexibility in my schedule to take frequent walks. I have a doggy room in my home office with toys and blankets, comfy pillows, and a “puppy” couch! I stay active, we can go in hikes and run for more active dogs. I also am a big cuddler and happy to relax as well.

Availability
I work full time, but can work from home freely due my flexible policy. I am are very active, I hike regularly, I go on nightly walks with my husband, and tend to be up early in the morning. I am always off weekends. I have a lot of free time 😊
