Pet care experience
Dogs: I have taken care of dogs for my friends and family for over three years and now that I'm out of University, I'm looking to do something during this downtime. I've always loved dogs and loved caring for them despite never owning one due to my housing circumstances. I'm able to play and keep up with dogs for hours on end and always put the dog's health and needs as the first and main priority. I have looked after many dogs over two years and will care for any type of dog however prefer small and medium sized dogs as I have the most experience with them. some dog breeds that I have dog sat include Yorkshire Terriers, Beagles, and Cocker Spaniels. I enjoy playing and running with dogs when out for walks and at a park or field and have gone on jogs with dogs previously around a park. Cats: I am a very happy owner of a 3 year old long haired cat. I have had her since she was given to me at 7 weeks old and have taken care of all her needs daily. If you own a long haired cat you know that they require a lot of attention when it comes to grooming and stopping their long hair from becoming matted! I love my cat and have done everything I can to make sure she is always a nice and cheerful kitty! I can't wait to look after your cat and they will steal all my attention away from me!

For information I would like prior to meeting/taking care of your dog, I would like to know the breed of the dog and how much energy the dog usually has. I understand that all dogs are different and have their own needs and require tailored care. I would also like to know if your dog is okay around other dogs/people in case they do not and would rather be walked/played with in areas where it will be empty (I have taken care of a dog that had anxiety and found that they were much more happier running around and playing in an empty field away from strangers!).
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and making sure they get all that pent up energy out! I like to take them on walks and more so love playing catch or fetch with dogs that can. I would love to take your dog to a park and if there are any dog-parks in your area, I can also take them there so they can also socialise with others!

Availability
I own a pet and understand what it takes to look after an animal. They require lots of love and attention and I have had that responsibility to make sure my cat has a nice happy life where she can enjoy her little cat-self to the fullest. I have to make sure her litter is clean, her long hair groomed, especially in the areas she struggles to reach when grooming herself and when she gets extra stinky, give her a bath and drying her thoroughly to make sure she doesn't get her hair matted during the drying period.
