Please make a point to seek out Lucy. Several times you mention that you did not see her. The point of the visits in my mind is to interact with her.
I'm so glad I found Amina!! She's easy to communicate with and sent me pictures while we were gone. My cat doesn't warm up to very many people, but she did with Amina. I'd totally recommend her.
