Mistakes happen and our pets deserve the same grace we give to ourselves. I’ve cleaned many accidents myself, and I never find it to be something daunting or difficult. Every animal has their own personality, so I always make sure to adapt to their needs and respect their boundaries.

Please make a point to seek out Lucy. Several times you mention that you did not see her. The point of the visits in my mind is to interact with her.
