*Hi again, Rover folks! I just recently moved back to VA from WA to be closer to family and decided to dust off my Rover account.* I grew up in a family full of pets and through the years have developed a deep love and respect for the companionship we get from our pets. During my stay in WA, I lived with 5 Newfoundlands, so I am no stranger to slobbers and furry hugs--feels a bit strange to have room while I sit on a couch now! I have worked as a pet and house sitter for close to 6 years and have many pets and pet owners that have become close friends. In my experiences as a pet sitter, I have learned the value of remaining flexible to the needs of both the owner and pet. You can be certain that when you entrust your pet with me they will be getting constant love and care. And above all else, I understand our pets can be extensions of our family, and I am dedicated to providing a service that mirrors that of the owner's routine so that all the pets I care for will be as comfortable as possible.

My name is Ellie ( I am a Boxer, Australian Shepherd mix) and my Best Friend, Suzanne and I love how Amie just shows up and makes both of our lives easier and fun. She knows how to make sure that I have clean bowls of water and plenty of fresh food. Amie knows that I need to get out often to take care of my "business" and she always greets me with a smile, a bit of romping and she will toss a ball for me and give ma a treat! If I feel better if she sleeps over, or takes me home with her, she always says "OK". I hope that I am her first priority, but if you are lucky enough to have her take care of you, you will have a great time and feel loved and well cared for! Ellie
Amie has taken care of my cats for more than a year. She also has worked for me in other capacities. The takes great thoughtful care of the cats. She is completely reliable in every regard.

I love taking the pets I watch on errand runs with me. If your pet can handle it, they will be with me all the time. But I also understand some pets are older or don't require or want as much attention, so again whatever makes your pet happy is my goal.
