Bison had an amazing day at Amie's along with Toaster and Joni. Getting pictures from their adventures throughout the day made me feel great too.

Amie was truly awesome while having our dog Kona for multiple days during our last trip. Our meet-n-greet with her dogs went perfect as everyone liked one another as well as during the drop off at Amie's house. Could not have found a better host. Amie kept us well informed of all the activities they did during the day and how all the dogs were really comfortable with each other, as well as sending great ...

Our experience with Amie was top notch! She has a great understanding of dog behavior and was wonderful with our young, high energy, border collie. It was our first time leaving him with anyone else and I could not have felt more comfortable. We received frequent updates along with pictures and videos. She made sure he was eating well and getting much needed exercise and mental stimulation. She has a calm, positive personality and truly ...

Full-Time Dog Lovers & Caregivers

My dogs are my family, and my life happily revolves around keeping them happy, healthy and well exercised. I would love to do the same for your furry friend! I work from home and get to hang out with my pups all day, every day. Whether you're traveling or just out for the day, I'd love to take care of your pup and house sit for you. I offer house-sitting overnights, walks, and check-ins. While ...

What Amie would like to know about your dog

In order to ensure your dog's vacay with us is relaxing and fun, it's important that your dog gets along with other dogs. My dogs have never met another dog they don't like, but just to be on the safe side, we always do a meet & greet before accepting new client reservations. Additionally, we like to know that your dog is good in the car, that he/she is house-broken, and what his/her on-leash and off-leash behaviors are. We have experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds and energy levels, dogs with anxiety, and senior dogs with special care needs. At this time, we aren't accepting Poodles, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Weimaraners, German Shorthaired Pointers or Vizslas. All other dog breeds are welcome!

When Amie watches your pet

We can accommodate dogs of all types of activity levels - scaling up or down depending on the dog's specific needs. We normally do a leashed 30-min neighborhood walk in the morning (usually around 7am). In the afternoon, we do a 1-2 hour adventure at places like Twin Lakes, Coot Lake, Boulder Valley Ranch, Tantra Lakes, Teller Farms or Union Reservoir. Around 6pm, we either take another 30-45 minute leashed neighborhood walk or take the dogs to the nearby dog park. We have a fenced yard that is great for playing fetch or just relaxing in the grass. I work from home, so the dogs have regular access to our yard outside, but are never left unattended outside. We also have a finished, carpeted basement that we call the "doggie playroom" - our dog Toaster loves taking his doggie friends down there to play tug-o-war.
