Pet care experience
I have been around a whole host of pets my whole life from fish, tortoises and chickens to rabbits, cats and dogs. In my spare time I love to be around animals and would happily look after any animal in need. I have cared for family, friend's and work colleague's dogs from 6 months to 15 years old and can continue with any training you would like. For the very energetic dogs that need long walks, I have my own car to take them into the countryside if needed. My only request is that I meet them first to ensure that we are a perfect fit and I can say that I have had no problems with this in the past. I cannot host in my own home but will treat other homes as if they are my own. I also believe caring for a dog in their own home is best.

We are so delighted that Amie was able to come and live in our home to look after Suky while we were away. Suky is 14 years old and her sight and hearing are not good. Amie was happy to pick up the routine in our absence making sure that Suky had all the cuddles, snacks and walks she wanted and we felt reassured that Suky was in familiar surroundings and was being very well cared for. Suky just loves sleeping on our bed and Amie was happy to continue with that and to also spend the evenings on the couch together with the tv on. I highly recommend Amie as a dog sitter and would have no hesitation in booking Amie again. Amie is very tidy and organised and it was a pleasure to arrive home at 1am to clean bedding and fresh milk in the fridge. I am available at weekends, after 5pm every weekday and work from home 1 day a week. My work from home day is flexible (but limited to 1) so please message me and I'm sure we can work something out.
