I have worked in animal rescue since 2015 where I’ve worked with dogs of different sizes and temperaments, and cats and small animals. I also help with the running of a local cat rescue where i sort homechecks, adoptions, foster cats. I have lots of experience with all animals. I am level 3 qualified in animal management. I have been around animals my whole life with child hood dogs and cats, to now owning 7 cats, a dog, 5 ferrets, 3 Guinea pigs and a crested gecko. My whole life is dedicated to helping animals

Amie is a real cat whisperer. She was so patient with my anxious cat and she got closer and closer everyday gaining her trust. I can't thank her enough for doing such a great job with my cat and administering medication as well. When I go away again Amie will definitely be the person I contact.

I look after your babies in the comfort of their own home, I can only do pop ins but each visit lasts for 30 minutes. If looking after dogs walking them will be optional too for a little bit extra, I can offer half hour or an hours walk. I do a package deal for walk and a pop in at a discounted price.

Any medication or special requirements do let me know, administering medication isn’t an issue, had lots of experience over the years with rescue dogs with many different medications and health conditions.
A typical day
We will go on walks where the dog is able to sniff, can find an enclosed field if being off lead and having a run is required. Can entertain in the house by playing with favourite toys, or just having cuddles whichever the animal prefers.

Availability
I am currently on maternity leave with my other job so I am available all days to the week commencing 1st April 2024, I will then begin going back part time so will still have plenty of time available but will be a bit more restricted. I usually do my pet drop ins first thing in the morning before I go to my other job around 7-7.30am and again after I’ve finished around 6pm. So even with my other job I can still fit in looking after your babies. I have fostered cats for many years now from teeny tiny kittens day old that needed hand rearing, older kittens, momma cats and their babies, adults and senior cats. I have had poorly cats which have required medication.
