Pet care experience
I am a graduate student at George Fox University and I have a bachelors of science degree in biology from the University of Portland. I am an avid animal lover and started walking and caring for dogs when I was in college. I have one dog of my own, Doctor. He is 6 years old but still acts and looks just like a puppy! I’m looking forward to putting my biology skills to the test and getting to know your pup!

Amie has been walking our eight month old puppy, Penny several times a week for a couple months now and we couldn't be happier with her service. From the start she has done a wonderful job. She's incredibly kind and patient with Penny and has followed all of our instructions for her care exactly. She notifies us promptly of any changes or concerns and submits very detailed Rover Report Cards. She's always respectful of our home and is careful to make sure the door is locked when she leaves. Amie genuinely seems to love animals and never makes taking care of Penny seem like a chore. I feel completely at ease leaving Penny in her care and can recommend Amie to anyone with absolute confidence!
Amie took great care of our dog, giving her lots of walks and putting up with her quirks! She was also very accommodating of our schedule, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend her!

I currently live in an apartment that has a number of grass areas! Probably not ideal for a big dog unless your dog is pretty laid back. Otherwise, I’m happy to watch your dog at your home as well. I am meticulous when it comes to directions, reading notes carefully, and making sure that your pet and your home are safe. I am also fully vaccinated!

A typical day
I love going on walks and finding parks that we can walk through together in the shade. Rain or shine, your dog and I are bound to have a great time together! I love adventuring and getting to know cool places. I’m happy to take your pup to their favorite park, too!

My school schedule changes each semester, but for the next few weeks I will be in class from 8:40am to 11:30am. Other than that, I am free and open to walls and boarding!
