Hello, my name is Mike. I am new to Rover and very ready to gain some best friends. I am an optometry student at UAB. I am originally from Nashville, TN where my family lives as well as my two dogs. Their names are Roy (2-year GSD) and Max (2-year healer/mountain cur mix). They both are very well-behaved and trained dogs. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring them with me to Birmingham and that's one of the reasons that made me think of being a dog sitter, so I can replenish my need and desire to be with and around man's best friends (Dogs). I gained a lot of experience not only on how to train a dog, but also how to train and be around several dogs with full control over them. I can and will walk your dog/s while training them on basic commands and discipline. Since I am renting a room, I won't be able to board any dogs, but I will be happy to take care of your dogs wherever they are. Hope to meet you and your dog soon
