I started caring for dogs as a child to prove I was responsible enough to adopt one with family- that research has definitely paid off I pay close attention to the personable individual needs of each pet (dogs, cats, rats, and more) to evaluate how they’re best off depending on the situation. I don’t let the animals I sit out of my sight and I take note of behavioral patterns so I’m not surprised with any quirks or habits. I follow directions about preferred de-escalation or crating if necessary. Every pet is different with their varying levels of energy- I won’t put your home or your pets in any situation outside of your exact requests!

I’d like to know if your fur baby has any medical needs, allergies, or quirks (Do they get along with other animals passing by? Do they lunge at people or animals? Can passerbys pet them? Are they vocal or aggressive?).
A typical day
I am a classic fan of fetch, outdoor enrichment, and mind tasks for pets. I also talk to animals regularly because they’re wonderful company. I won’t yell at or distress your pets as I don’t find that to be productive for their health.

Availability
I am moving into instructing at my institution this year and will not be providing house sitting anymore. My availability for drop-ins will be sparse as I am also working under a fellowship that’ll have me out of town often. For past clients, I hope this news doesn’t prevent you from reaching out when my calendar is marked available!
