Pet care experience
Hi I am Amelia, I am 23 years old, and I am a current nursing student at Denver College of Nursing. I have grown up around dogs, and love every shape and size they come in. I grew up with golden retrievers so I am comfortable around larger dogs. I am very friendly and outgoing, and will care for your pets as if they were my own. I have plenty of experience taking care of young dogs, as I helped raise my family’s golden retrievers from 8 weeks, but I also have experience with older pets, as I helped care for both of my older golden retrievers. I know this is a dog sitting site, but if you happen to need someone to also take care of cats, I am more than happy to do so, as I have two cats that I've raised from kittens. I am super excited to be joining Rover, because I absolutely love taking care of all animals. Please let me know if I seem like a good fit for whatever help you need.

Amelia was great with our older dog. She stayed at the house for a long weekend and left it in great condition along with a report on how the weekend went. She is a very responsible, loving, and friendly sitter who we would definitely call again!
Amelia is a very responsible high school graduate who has great experience caring for and looking after dogs. She has had dogs in her family her entire life and is very comfortable around animals of all kinds. She is very kind and caring and definitely someone I would trust to look after my pets.

I currently live in an apartment that does not allow pets, so if you need overnight sitting, I will need to stay at your home, which most people want anyways. Like I have said, I love animals of all kinds, and will care your your furbabies as though they are my own.

I have no breed preferences, however, I would definitely like to know some information about your dogs, such as how they react around other dogs, children, and strangers.
A typical day
I will take your dogs for walks around the neighborhood, but I can also drive and take them to the dog park or on any hikes in the area, with the owners' permission.

Availability
I am currently a nursing student and I am not working, so trying to fill up some of my time by spending time with animals! I have class Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in Denver, but I am online on Fridays. I will be gone a maximum of 4.5 hours for class on those days.
