Pet care experience
I’ve had animals ever since I was born. This ranged from cats and dogs to rabbits and guinea pigs. I fell in love with dogs when we got our family dog Barney. Since then I have been pet sitting for friends and have become the President of the University of York’s Dog society where we take care of 7 dogs weekly including walks, playing and socialising with people and other dogs.

I had to go away very last minute and Amelia was kind enough to make time in her schedule to walk my precious girl for a couple weeks. Thank you so much for your help, i’m sure Tess really enjoyed her walks with you. It’s my first time using this kind of service and Amelia has made it a great experience!!!
Great sitter, who I was fortunate enough after another sitter fell through at the last min was available. Anara came back happy and tired which for me is always the key. Recommend to anyone looking for a trusted sitter.

A typical day
I love to socialise dogs whether that be with other dogs or people. On the whole it is down to the needs of each individual dog but I love walking and exploring new places and the dogs get to experience new smells and areas.

Availability
I am a university student so timetables can be tough to work around as well as working part time in retail. But I am happy to take care of pets whether that’s popping in or taking them for a walk inbetween lectures or looking after them overnight.
