Pet care experience
I have raised cats, dogs, chickens, and bees over the past two decades. I love spending time with them, talking with them, and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. Im experienced when it comes to senior pets; I have cared for animals with diabetes, animals who are recovering from surgery, and animals who require daily vitamins. I enjoy helping dogs of all ages practice their training and good behaviors. I am very patient with puppies who are just learning as well has older dogs who are in their golden years.
Reviews
Amelia did an amazing job with Abby! She updated me on every visit and took great care of Abby. I would highly recommend her and will definitely book again in the future.
Amelia has become our go to person to take care of our two pitbulls. She’s a great and caring dog walker. I hope you have the chance to work with her, she is the best!
Amelia was so sweet and attentive to my giant pups needs ! Both of them. :) I enjoyed getting her updates and felt at ease knowing they were taken care of. Thank you for being you!
Always so great with Laney! Grateful to have her as my dog walker :)

I always make sure fences are locked and no one is in the backyard before letting a dog out to go to the bathroom. Its important that an animal's bathroom space is cleaned regularly to avoid unsanitary conditions as well as make sure that the animal's snaitary area is clean before coming in the house. All pets need to be leashed on walks outside the home. I prefer harnesses so that there is less of a chance of dogs slipping out of their leash and so that their collars do not hurt them. Eating too quickly can be a safety concern, so I would recommend slow feeder bowls and lick mats for safer meals. If certain areas of the home are not spaces for pets, fencing off hallways with baby gates is extremely important. If your dog is kennel trained and is safest in a kennel when humans are not home, then I can return an animal to their kennel before leaving.
Information Amelia S. would like to know about your pet
When you reach out to me we will schedule a free meet and greet. I can meet you and your pet(s) and you can help me get to know their needs and anything else that is important to their happiness.
A typical day
I enjoy letting the dogs take us on a walk. They know their neighborhood, they know their favorite places to visit, and they know their routine. I prefer to be safety coordinator so we can visit on all grassy spots, flower beds, and squirrel hang outs that they enjoy visiting.
