Pet care experience
I’ve been working with Rover for almost two years now! I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of some of the greatest, cutest, and most loving cats and dogs of so many families and friends. I have 3 kids (7,5,&1) and we love and care for each pet that is in my care as part of our family for however long they are with us. We do not have any pets of our own, so we pour all of our love and attention to the ones we have temporary!! Non smoking or vaping household. Many families are repeat clients because I know how important it is for your fur babies to have stability of someone and some place they are familiar and comfortable with. It is the best feeling knowing that I can be there for your cat and dog family members, give them a welcoming and relaxing stay full of family love. Please note that all pets need to be kid friendly and non aggressive. ❤️

Amelia is the absolute best and I 10/10 recommend choosing her to take care of your pets. This was our first time using rover and we left both dogs with Amelia for 7 days and she took amazing care of them. She gave us daily updates on the dogs and sent pictures and made us feel so comfortable while we were away which allowed us to have a stress free vacation. She also allowed the dogs to sleep on her bed at night with her and nap on the couch which I know made them feel more at home. We also loved the fact that the dogs weren’t really left alone because Amelia is at home almost always. I can’t thank Amelia enough for providing our dogs such amazing care.

I care for all pets in my home by never leaving them alone, when it comes to safety for them and my children there will never be a time that I will not have my eyes on them. When it comes to potty breaks I leash them no matter what, even though the yard is fenced. It’s all for security. When doing drop ins, I always make sure to send photos every time I go to care for your fur baby and communicate to you as much as possible about every little detail on how they are doing.

A typical day
A typical day would be fetching and playing in the backyard. Nice walks around the neighborhood and nearby parks depending on your pets needs. Feeding and play time is the essential of the day for the ones full of energy. Relaxing and nap times for the elderly pets or those with low energy. I even go to great lengths, if the more shy cats or dogs will need their alone time in a secluded area to not become overwhelmed in a new environment to provide that space.

For drop-ins I will be able to come during times after 9:30am and after school pick up hours all throughout the week. I will try my best to get the time needed that you require, so please let me know if you have flexibility on times. Thank you for your understanding!
