Pet care experience
I grew up on a horse boarding stable taking care of other’s animals since I was a kid. I’ve always been passionate about giving animals the quality care they deserve. I’ve been helping take care and train our family dog Bader (2 years old) for 2 years now and we have had cats and kittens as pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve also taken care of neighbors dogs from time to time.

I would highly recommend Amelia as a pet sitter. She always responded quickly to any question or request I had of her (even over the Christmas holiday!). She was also super conscientious in our space even asking where our vacuum was since our cat knocked over a plant. One of our cats is super shy and has NEVER come out for previous pet sitters. Amelia was petting her on the first day! Not only our two neurotic kitties, but also our place was well cared for when we arrived home. You would be lucky to have Amelia as a pet sitter!

We're so happy to have found Amelia! We have a cat who needs pills every 12 hours and sometimes it's nice to be able to have someone drop in. She stopped by a few days early to meet the cats and give the pill administration a try. I know she has experience administering meds - but every animal is different. She was very communicative and right on time. Thank you Amelia!
Amelia had great response times when I contacted her. It was easy to communicate my pet’s needs and she followed through with all instructions. She was friendly both to me and my pet. Couldn’t ask for better treatment.

I’m an avid hiker and I love to get outside and walk in nature. ❕Other things to note: - I usually charge an extra 10$ if your home is more than 20 minutes from me, unless I am already heading to your area for another booking. - I like to have an emergency contact and vet information for your pet in case anything comes up while I am sitting for you.

Before I accept a booking I like to be sure I have a good understanding of the dog’s specific needs and personality such as any reactivity I should be aware of. Also, if there’s something specific you’d like me to work on.
A typical day
I love playing fetch on walks and especially like to walk by moving water. I think it provides great stimuli for dogs, especially puppies. I love to reinforce positive behavior and always carry small rewards on hand. Things I can work on with your dog/puppy during our session: -basic commands -loose leash walking -recall

Availability
Available to house sit during the week and Friday night into Saturday. I work full time between the hours of 7am and 5pm but my schedule and length of work depends on the day. I usually have time to let dogs out during the middle of the day, if they are local.
