Raised on a farm, I’ve owned working and companion dogs my whole life. The love and loyalty pets give is truly unmatched. I’ve had the unique opportunity from a young age to assist our farm vet. We’re avid outdoors people, at home in the backcountry, with a true belief that where we go, our pets go too. We take such pride in the visible growth in confidence and trust our dogs build through the experiences we share with them.

Amelia, her partner, and their pups were great and let Hank be part of the family for the night. He had a great time and is still recovering from all the play time!
Amelia and her partner, Patrick, are WONDERFUL. Not to mention their sweet dogs who love new friends for playmates. My pup, Oakley, felt right at home immediately and became part of the family. They took her on runs, did some leash and off-leash training with her, and sent lots of pictures. 10/10 would recommend.

I have a fenced in backyard with two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. I have a crate if needed or dogs are welcome to lounge on dog beds in our living room.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for. We do have a large cat, who has access to my office through a cat door in a dog gate. Gives him some space and ensures the dogs do not have access to his litter box or food. During the day when weather is good, I like to leave the back door open where the dogs can enter and exit into the fenced in backyard.
A typical day
I feel it’s important to give dogs enough mental and physical stimulation. In good weather I aim for 2 walks a day, before feeding, alternating at the parks near my house of at least 1.5 miles or a loop around Palmer Park which is ~2.5 miles. During the day when weather is good, I like to leave the back door open where the dogs can enter and exit into the fenced in backyard. Here they can play with toys or sunbathe, which is Loki’s favorite.

I’m fortunate to work full time remote at home. Truly fits my lifestyle and gives me the opportunity to walk my boys (my dogs) 2x a day or even take them on a lunch run.
