What’s up, dog?
Pet care experience
I’ve walked dogs for many years whilst at home but since being at university has made me miss all the dogs I used to walk so so much! I have two Schnoodle dogs back home in Surrey and miss them terribly! I’ve owned many pets myself ranging from goldfish, to dogs even bearded dragons. Whilst I may not have as much experience as others in caring for dogs, I have become rather experienced in looking after people. I am going into my final year of study to become a paramedic, so know how to handle a somewhat stressful situation and picking up new skills quickly.

Amelia took care of my dog Fudge really well and she returned a happy and well walked pup! Great communication and she arrived on time. Would recommend if you’re looking for a reliable dog walker.
I have been friends with Amelia (more affectionately known as Millie), for coming on three years now. She is one of the most organised people I know - very good with time keeping. She has two dogs herself so she is a loving owner; as well as having many animals in the house growing up and partaking in horse riding as well; all of which can be accredited to her being an animal lover. Millie is known for her responsibility and leader-roles that she takes on in everyday living; when in doubt one can always come to her for help and advice. I have an energetic dog myself (border collie) and Millie is very good with him and knows how to keep him entertained! I would trust her to take excellent care of him any day.
Amelia was kind, friendly and professional. She arrived on time, and was more than competent and confident with what she was doing. She made me feel like I could trust her and my dog seemed to like her a lot! Thank you Amelia!

I prefer to look after dogs within their own environment, as being in a busy student house may be stressful and overwhelming for them! I also don’t think my landlord would be too keen on that. Allowing them to remain in their own home would hopefully encourage them to be more comfortable and trusting with me! I am a trusting, patient person and someone you can always rely on! :)

A typical day
My boyfriend is in the military and loves taking me on long walks with him all over Dartmoor. I would love to explore more of Cornwall and Devon and hopefully having a dog to do it with will make it even better!!

Availability
I have quite flexible hours around my lectures and have a few days off in between my placement! I work long hours and night shifts so my schedule varies a fair bit!
