I grew up living on a farm with animals of all kinds and have had multiple family dogs. I love being around them and have had plenty of experience taking care of and walking them. I am comfortable with all of the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. I have volunteered multiple times at animal shelters and have even competed in an amateur dog show.
