Pet care experience
I have had family dogs my entire life, and rescued my own girl just over a year ago. I have pet-sit for multiple family and friends over the years, and have experience raising my own dog including; nail trims, bathing, obedience training, walking, and potty training. I have also taught my dog a variety of tricks such as 'dance' and 'spin'!

Amelia has taken great care of both my dogs. She is conscientious of their needs and always loving and kind. She has cared for and walked them while I was out of town as well during the day when I had a extra long work day. She has always been flexible and eager to help when things needed to change unexpectedly. I highly recommend Amelia! She will take great care of your fur baby.
Amelia watched my dogs for two weeks while I was on vacation and did a great job taking care of them while keeping the house clean. Our pets were safe, happy, and healthy when we came home- and there was no mess to be seen! Great sitter.
Amelia has watched my cat for me several times while I have been out of town. She was extremely communicative and attentive each time. She sent regular updates letting me know my cat was doing well. I feel my pet is in great hands with her.

I have extensive experience with aggressive dogs and dog calming strategies, and would recommend for all dog-walking services that your dog has a harness or is open to using one of my extra ones! Harnesses are safer for the dog to wear-no choking when they tug the lead, and easier to pull back from any danger-and easier to manage than the standard collar. I carry treats on me to reward good behavior, and build trust with the animals. I would love to start any service with a meet-and-greet where we can build a bond together in a safe environment.

A typical day
Dogs need physical and mental stimulation, and I provide both with a variety of games and activities! I play hide-and-seek-treat with my own dog inside, and we love playing fetch at the park. My dog's favorite place to go is either the dog park or on a hiking trail, but staying at home and playing brain games is still something she absolutely loves.

Amelia can watch in your home
Availability
I will be available every day of the week from 8AM-11AM, or M/W/F 2PM-5PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be available from 8AM-3PM. Weekends are negotiable to me, and can be done by request.
