I’ve always had a true passion for all animals, dogs especially! With over 15 years personal experience caring for dogs and two years professionally working in kennels and rescue I am confident I could give your pup the love and fun they need while you’re away! Whether that be a fun enrichment walk, or just a drop in for some dinner and a cuddle, I’d love to meet your furry family members! I have plenty of experience handling reactive dogs so rest assured your pup will be in good hands.

Amelia was just brilliant. Last minute change of works plans, and Amelia was so accommodating, came to visit Luna at extremely short notice and then walked my spaniel for two consecutive days. Haste free, completely trustworthy and was so good with Luna. Couldn’t recommend enough.
Amelia walked my dog Quito twice and came over for a visit. She kept me up to date and sent pictures. My dog can be reactive but she managed that well and had no trouble in walks. Quito is happy and I am very pleased to have found Amelia. Highly recommend.

With two years professional experience caring for dogs, I am confident in reading body language and will never push a dog past their comfort zone. Your dogs welfare will always come first! Having worked with many reactive dogs (and never been bitten) I am well versed in taking the time to get to know your pup and their triggers, then working through them on our walks.

Having worked in kennels for two years I am comfortable with medicating dogs as needed and have experience with a number of special need dogs. If you require any extra attention for your pup just let me know and I’ll be happy to help :)
A typical day
I like to add variety to the walks I bring pups on, with my own dog I go all over the country to keep him stimulated and keep his nose working on all the new smells!

Availability
I work at a rescue kennels in Gloucester Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and all day Saturday each week. I can provide walking or drop in visits before and after shifts at the kennels and all day on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
