Hi/Bonjour, I would love you meet your furry friends. I’m very compassionate and love animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m a happy cat mom to an adopted 4 year old tabby girl, a 1 year old black cat and have had several animals over my lifetime. I grew up with a dog for 15 years as well as taking care of many animals for family, friends and now Rover. Since my current lifestyle isn’t cohesive to owning my own dog, I’ve been doing Rover for over 4 years now. / J’ai hâte de rencontrer tes compagnons à quatre pattes. Je suis la maman d’un chat de 3 ans tabby et un chat noir qui a 1 an, ma vie entier j’ai pris soin des animaux. Soi de chez moi, famille, ou maintenant Rover j’ai toujours de l’amour pour prendre soin et être un ami aux animaux. A cause de ma style de vie il serait difficile d’avoir un chien de moi-même, alors j’ai commencé à travailler avec Rover depuis plus que 4 ans. I have a wide range of experience with furry family from all backgrounds from new adoptees to purebred show pets. In the past I have cared for animals with high anxiety, geriatric needs, medication, or special care as well as puppies/kittens and groups of pets (from the same household). / J’ai une variété d’expérience des compagnons de différents origines, des nouveaux adoptés jusqu’à des animaux d’exposition. J’ai déjà eu des clients avec de l’anxiété, des besoins gériatriques, médicaments, des chiots/chatons et groupes d’animaux (du même maison). I would like to work in animal behaviour in the future and would consider this as amazing experience given the opportunity. I have taken some classes including Animal form & function as well as an Animal Behaviour class that I believe will help me as well. Also I took on a role as a vet clinic so am familiar with the environment just in case there are any concerns. / Mon bût c’est travailler dans l’étudie du comportement animal et donc delà serait une bonne chance pour l’expérience. J’ai déjà pris des cours de Comportement Animal et Animaux: forme et fonction qui me donnerait des bonnes connaissances aussi. Je suis aussi comfortable dans une clinique vétérinaire à cause du temps que j’ai bossé, alors je comprend la procédure en cas de problème. I look forward to meeting you and you fuzzy family soon!

I'm so grateful for Amelia's care and presence in our pets' lives. She is super consistent and communicative. My rescue dog is a bit tricky to handle, and has some reactive tendencies, but Amelia handles him so well.

Amelia is great with my dog Molly. She sends photos and updates from their walks and is very friendly.
Amelia took exceptional care of our two dogs and our house while we were away on vacation. We looked forward to her daily photos and updates of the pups and could tell they enjoyed being with her.

A typical day
Parks and neighbourhood walks are definitely my favorite for social and energetic dogs, no matter the weather tossing around a ball or a long walk around seeing some other furry friends sounds like an ideal time. For less social or energetic dogs a walk around the neighbourhood, a private area, some play indoors and some fetch and tug-o-war sound like the perfect entertainment. For cats I usually do some indoor playtime, pets and cuddles or just keeping them company if they’re a bit on the shy side. / Les parcs et les promenades de quartier sont certainement mes activités préférés pour les chiens sociaux et énergiques. Quel que soit le temps, lancer une balle ou faire une longue promenade pour voir d'autres ami semble d’être un sortie idéal. Pour les chiens moins sociaux ou énergiques, une promenade dans le quartier, un endroit privé, ou un peu de jeu à l'intérieur avec du fetch et de tug-o-war semblent d’être amusante. Pour les chats, je fais habituellement des jeux à l'intérieur, des caresses et câlins ou je leur tiens simplement compagnie s'ils sont un peu timides.

Availability
I started Rover as a way to make extra money but now have been doing so full time since the start of 2021. Most of my days consist of being home every 3-4 hours during house sittings and being out of the house a couple times a day to complete walks and drop-ins for other clients. I have an extremely flexible schedule so just contact me if you have any questions. / Rover était une emploi de côté, mais depuis 2021 je le fait a temps plein. La plupart de mes journées sont être à la maison chaque 3-4 heures et sortir quelques fois pendant la journée pour compléter les marchés et visites pour mes autres clients. Mon horaire est très flexible alors envoie-moi une message si vous avez un question.
