Pet care experience
I am a huge dog lover and I grew up with a gorgeous retriever during my whole childhood. Now I have my own dog, a very loving and friendly Newfoundland, who is 1 and a half years old. However, I love dogs of all sizes and it would be a pleasure to look after your doggy! I am familiar with looking after dogs at all stages of life. We also have a ridiculous number of toys to keep your doggy occupied and stimulated! I know that it can be scary and nerve-racking to leave your dog with someone other than yourself. I feel the same about leaving my dog when we go away, but you can trust that I will look after your dog in the same way as my own and they will be very safe, warm, loved and happy. I am very responsible and trustworthy. They will have a great time here. I can send you lots of pupdates throughout their stay so you can see what they get up to! I have a DBS certificate and home boarding insurance. I have also completed pet first aid and CPR training.

Looking for somewhere for your furry family member to stay? Look no further, they probably won’t even miss you! If they’re up for cuddles and fuss, chilling and walkies as well as masses of fun playing with big furry softie bear Norman, they’ll feel right at home. You’ll get regular updates so you know they are happy and the only trouble you might have is when they don’t want to go home 🐾
Amelia is a passionate dog lover, she is extremely compassionate and has always put dogs before herself! She is trustworthy and super reliable. I would have no second thoughts leaving my pet with her and Norman. I’m sure your dog will feel right at home as well, even much so… that they won’t even want to come home afterwards :)
Amelia is an all round fantastic person and is very passionate with everything she does. it’s not hard to notice that Norman is her world! I would highly recommend Amelia and would 100% trust her with any doggy companion :)

We live in a house with a garden that has a 6ft fence all of the way around. Your dog can spend as much time in the garden as they like and they will always be supervised. We also live right next door to fields with great dog walking routes so I can take them for walks around there. These can be as long or as short as you would like and I can do at least 2 of these a day. I can take your dog on a walk on its own or with mine/ other dogs that are staying, the choice is up to you. I will also always walk your dog on a lead, unless you would prefer an off the lead walk and they have good recall. Your dog’s stay with me will be as similar to what they are used to at home. If they usually sleep/ cuddle up on the sofa then that is absolutely fine for them to do that here whilst they stay with me. Your dog will be free to roam all areas of the house. We live in a bungalow so they will always be on the same floor as us and be able to see us at all times. I drive too so if you would like your dog to be taken on other dog walking routes, that is fine and can be arranged!

A typical day
Your dog will have such a fun stay. This will involve at least 2 walks a day, unless you would prefer otherwise! We often go and find new dog walking routes local to our village and love taking our dog to get a puppuccino or to a dog friendly pub. We can do that with your dog too if you like, or they can stay at home with us and we will entertain them there. Nevertheless, they won’t be bored with us! However if your dog would prefer a quieter, more relaxed day, we will ensure that they get that! We have lots of comfy (and also cold if you have a very fluffy doggy!) places for them to chill and sleep.

Availability
I work from home so there will always be someone at home to look after your dog and keep them entertained. I can let them into the garden to play and run around whenever they would like to and I can make sure that they have frequent toilet breaks. If I do need to pop out, I always do this when my partner is at home. He is also a huge dog lover. He works shifts so we always organise it so that he is at home if I need to go out. However I will be the one who is at home with your pup for the majority of the time.
