Dog walked and sat for the same family for over 3 years while in college. Their husky greatly appreciated our long walks and hours of fetch, while their elderly King Charles Spaniel was quite content just cuddling up. Those two provided an interesting dynamic as the energetic husky had to be watched to ensure he didn’t play roughly with his older brother, the spaniel. Quite a few times while sitting for this family I had to give the older dog a few different types of medicine as well as carry him outside to go to the bathroom after a hip injury. Regularly brushed both dogs as well. Growing up my family has had quite the slew of animals. Most recently, two dogs: a miniature pinscher and a pitbull. Also, one of my siblings fosters pit bulls and other large breed dogs, so I am quite comfortable with any breed big or small.
