I fell in love with dogs when we brought our puppy home 7 years ago! She brought love and joy into our home when we most needed it, got my sisters and I to go on walks together outside, and taught us all how to be caring. Since we got her when she was a puppy we had to potty train her and train her not to beg or bark. My experience with dogs before her comes from my neighbors dogs that I practically grew up with. Our childhood games almost always involved their beloved dogs and I became comfortable around dogs long before I had one of my own. My grandparents had three huskies when we were younger and now have a labor-doodle. I also began dog sitting for other neighbors dogs in middle school, including overnight stays, checking in on them during the day, and walking them. I have learned responsibility and time management through the past four years as a full time student and as an employee in various part time/ full time jobs.
