Hi! My name is Ameera, and I have been working with dogs professionally for the last 10 years. I have worked in daycare, boarding, and walking for my entire career, and have experience in almost every aspect of dog care. For the last 7 years, I have been leading off-leash 'field trips' in Boston with adventure crew! Being outside with dogs and letting them enjoy nature is the greatest joy. I just moved to Portland, and am looking to form a new crew of doggy pals, for myself and for my three dogs to hang with! We love nothing more than to go on adventures together, whether it's hiking or swimming, or just walking around the neighborhood. I have worked with all breeds and sizes and am comfortable with them all. At the moment I am offering mostly drop in services. Ameera watched our very anxious older pup for a week and she was amazing! I have already recommended her to several friends! She sent photos and updates so we’d know everything was going well. She was flexible when our return plans changed and managed all of the hiccups that came up due to our dogs separation anxiety. Our dog takes meds twice a day and she took care of that too. Ameera tidied up before we returned home, and even put clean sheets on the bed! I highly recommend Ameera for all your dog sitting needs!
Ameera took care of our special needs pup Lino and stayed in our home. Needless to say, we were nervous leaving him but are now confident we can travel with peace of mind knowing Ameera is on the case. When we returned the dog was happy and healthy, and even our skittish cat had been won over. The house was clean and well-taken care of. Ameera was extremely responsible and flexible, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter/ dog sitter.
Ameera did a fantastic job looking after my fur babies. She sent lots of pictures and did a great job communicating with me. She was prompt, clean and courteous and I will definitely hire her again in the future.

Availability
I work full time from home Mon-Fri. I can accommodate drop ins in the morning and evening and possible during the day if the time can be flexible. While I am able to mostly work from home and accommodate most schedules, I cannot provide 24/7 care. If your dog cannot ever be left alone, it's unlikely I will be able to watch them. Please disclose any separation anxiety and how you deal with it when you leave the house!
