I am currently a student studying in New York City, but I am originally from Florida where my family has six dogs at home. There has never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog, which has molded me into the passionate animal lover that I am today. Five of my dogs are Chihuahuas and one is a German Shepherd, so I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes. One of my Chihuahuas has asthma and has encountered various other medical obstacles; therefore, I have experience caring for pets who need medical accommodation. I also spent time, through the efforts of my non-profit organization, volunteering at animal shelters where I acquired the essential skills needed to enhance my ability to care for pets.
