Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love them and I really love helping people. Having four dogs of my own, I know how difficult it is to find someone you trust to take care of them when you want to go out of town. For the last three years, I have been helping my friends with overnights for their dogs or simple play dates. Coming over to our house is like going to doggy day care or the dog park, but a lot more fun. My kids are teenagers and are also great with dogs, so they are wonderful helpers.

We absolutely love when Amber watches our toy poodle Odie. She is very passionate about dogs, and Odie is always treated as part of their family when he is over. Amber has great energy, and is always playing and interacting with any dog she meets! Her personal dogs are well behaved very used to having other dogs around. You will leave not only with a well cared for pet, but also feel as if you’ve made yourself a friend in Amber! She’s the best!
Amber is an amazing dog sitter! She is so friendly and it is obvious how much she loves dogs by the way she interacts with them. I have two dogs and one is very scared of new people. I warned Amber the first time that she met him that he would bark at her at first. She did not hesitate to respond to him in a positive and loving way. He barked at her and then relaxed and they became buddies quickly. (Which he doesn't do for everyone!) Amber was so helpful in caring for the differing needs of our two dogs. She was willing to snuggle with the one who wants to snuggle and play ball for a long time with the one who wants to play constantly! I trust Amber completely when it comes to caring for my dogs and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs a pet caregiver! (And I am SUPER picky and won't trust my dogs to just anyone!) She is the best!!
I have used Amber many times for my Shih Tzu and can absolutely say she is the best. I won't leave my dog with just anyone and I have total piece of mind when I leave my dog with her. Our dogs have gotten along great since they first met with no issues at all. No body loves your pets more than you but nobody will love your pets more than Amber will while your gone. I refer to her as the dog whisperer and I definitely recommend her services.

We have a beautiful grassy backyard, with plenty of room to play. We have a giant dog bed that our dogs are happy to share with guests. We also have a kennel, for any dog that is used to sleeping in one.

I definitely need to know whether your dog is comfortable around big and small dogs, as I have both here at my home. My little dogs will pretty much sleep on the couch all day, and would not like to be bothered by anyone who is unfriendly to small dogs.
A typical day
Depending on the activity the dog likes to do, we'll play catch, play with toys, hang out and relax, or go for a walk. Our guest dog will be happy to play with my dogs, so they definitely won't be bored.

Availability
I am a homeschool mom of two, so I am home most of the time. We have four of our own dogs and we love to have guests over to play. My dogs are very sweet and like making new friends.
