Hi I’m Amber! I’m from the small town of Wallburg, North Carolina and have been living and studying in Raleigh since 2016. I have many years of experience with dogs as well as cats, reptiles and farm animals. I’m an Animal Science graduate at North Carolina State University with a minor in Entomology. I have two friendly, well trained rescue dogs named Ryder and Remy. My dogs get along with other canines, felines and have no issues with reptiles or other exotic pets (as we have several in our home 🥰). I currently share my home with my boyfriend who also has experience caring for pets. We have a nice fenced in back yard so you can expect tons of play time for your babies! I am very active with my business so when I am unavailable, I utilize a few trusted friends (full time sitters) whom I hire to help, feel free to let me know if you’re in a pinch and we can work something out! I care for pets of all kinds so don’t hesitate to ask me any questions!

We have recently relocated to South Raleigh where our home has a large fenced in back yard. We have cameras with motion detection around the property to keep and eye on the pups while out running errands and receive notifications on our cell phones of any activity in the living space/outdoors and can monitor your pup! I keep multiple crates on hand at all times in case any pups require crating while I am not present in the home, so no need to pack your crate! Both of my pups are extensively e-collar trained and so I am well versed in how to use an e-collar if you feel the need to leave one with your pup during their visit. I am BONDED AND INSURED :)

Please let me know of any allergies, vices, behavioral quirks or special needs your pup may have. I am always sure to ask these questions at our meet and greet! What I expect from my clients: Before a stay in my home, please have your pups bathed and nails trimmed, updated vaccinations (I will request a copy of this) as well as flea and tick medication (as my property is woodsy, highly recommended), as well as bringing their favorite toys or treats! Absolutely NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Dogs with big pup attitude are absolutely welcome, but aggression towards humans and other animals WILL NOT be tolerated. At the end of the day fam, I’m just here to be a dog mom and to spend as much time as I can outdoors with my pups and yours, enjoying whatever we find ourselves getting into!
A typical day
Be prepared to expect TONS of photo ops from our adventures! In this house we take beach trips, hiking trips, mountain and beach camping, and many adventures to the local lakes and rivers. You name it, I do it! With your permission of course. Every day here is a different adventure so there’s plenty for your pups to look forward to!

Availability
I run this business full time so I take advantage of every single day to commit to whatever needs your pet may require. Medication, dietary restrictions, coat maintenance, whatever you need, I can accommodate! House sitting services are accepted based on proximity to my home. I typically take on house sittings no further than ~15 minutes from my home and depending on the amount of check ins/time spent throughout the day. Staying overnight is no problem! but throughout the day I must be able to check in on boarded pups.
