Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my whole life from Doberman to Beagles to Mixed breed rescues. I have helped take care of and raise puppies when my Beagle gave birth. I have personal experience taking care of dogs with health issues who have to be given medication on a daily basis. I live close to Morningside and am able to travel around the area to meet you at your home to walk your dog or house sit. I have plenty of experience house sitting and dog boarding through both River and friends and family. I have recently relocated from the US to Edinburgh and am currently on the job hunt which allows me plenty of free time to watch and walk your dog while you are at work or away! I have had experience with calm dogs, hyper dogs, small dogs, big dogs, hairy dogs, and all the rest! All dogs welcome- I would love to meet and help take care of your loved pets so feel free to reach out and arrange a meet and greet!

Meg had a great time staying with Amber. We received frequent updates while on holiday which was reassuring for us and Meg seemed to have a blast. Amber asked plenty of questions on Meg’s routine and behaviour which was good to see and she was very well cared for (Meg was also brought along with the family on a wee day trip away in Scotland which we really appreciated) Can’t recommend Amber enough and would hope to have our Meg back with them in the near future. Amber’s dog Sage was also really relaxed and a great companion for Meg. Thanks again!!!
Amber was a great sitter for us. Our pup was very happy and it was nice to know that she was here on time and that everything was taken care of. We'll definitely use Amber again.
Amber took great care of our girls. They were still super calm when we got home.
Amber did a wonderful job caring for our two dogs and three puppies while we were out of town. She went above and beyond and took our girls for walks around the neighborhood. Everyone was happy and well cared for when we arrived home. Thanks so much!!

I live in a third floor flat with a fenced rear garden on ground level. Your dog is welcome to play with my dog Sage’s toys or their own. My dog sage is a very low energy 4 year old pup that is very well behaved though typically a bit indifferent to other dogs.

A typical day
Your dog can take walks around local parks such as Harrison Park or the Meadows, or socialize by going on walks through the city alongside my dog Sage. I have toys to spare for your dog to play with and chew on. I also love to jog if you have a dog that has extra energy and wants to go on a run.
