I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. Very reliable and eager to care for your pet. I currently own a dog and cats. I have previously cared for fish, rodents, and reptiles.

We were camping in rhe area and planned a day at the fair. Since dogs are not allowed we found Amber, and boy did we find a gem! Amber provided the best care for Athena that I could ask for! I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a dog tether/leash for our yard. This has worked for my dog as long as we have had her. I never leave dogs out on the tether unsupervised. the tether is primarily used for potty breaks. Ideally, dogs that are in my care at my home get walked every 1.5-2 hours for exercise. We have a large house with plenty of room to run and play inside too.

I am prepared to care for any type of animal, I do not discriminate. Unfortunately, I cannot take animals who can not be around children, as I have 2 young kids that. Other than that I just need to know size, breed and any allergies/medical concerns. i am well educated with a variety of animals, but I do preform some research ahead of time to stay up to date on current training techniques pertaining to certain breeds and basic breed information that I use to build a file on clients in my care. I do require a meet and greet for any new potential clients. This is for everyones comfort and safety. It is my goal to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I take my own dog on walks around our neighborhood and to the beach. Our family also owns a camp that I take our dog to frequently to let her run free. My dog loves other dogs so she would be an excellent playmate.

My availability has recently changed. I am now employed through Escanaba Area Schools and my availability will be dependent on the school schedules. I am keeping my account open for school breaks (winter, spring, summer, and weekends) for clients that need care during those times. I love my new job, but I also love caring for dogs!
