Pet care experience
I've had dogs, large and small, off and on since I was 9. I'm comfortable working with them and making sure their needs are met. I'm definitely also a cat person and enjoy the chill companionship that they provide. I'm happy to work with you to make sure your fuzzy family members are taken care of as well as I would want my own to be.

Amber was great with Millie she provided us with updated throughout the weekend and for our first time away without Millie she did great! Definitely will keep in touch for future visits as you’ve made us more comfortable to be able to travel in the future.

Amber was amazing with my hyper dog. She kept him on track with his training while also getting him the exercise he needed. She modified their activities to keep him happy and healthy in the always changing New England weather.

Please tell me if your pet has any special needs or personality quirks so that we get off on the right foot and so that I'm able to make sure all their needs are being met! If they're reactive to certain stimuli, if they have any allergies, past trauma (I've had rescues, I know some pets just need very specific approaches to things and am happy to work with what they need). The more info you give me, the better job I can do for your pet.
A typical day
I'm willing to tailor plans to each pet's preferences and routine, so if you have a usual walk location or activities that they love, I can make that happen. I prefer not to take dogs out on group playdates/to the dog park until I've had time to get to know them/their personality, so while that is an option, it definitely won't be on our first visit.

I am self employed and have a flexible work from home schedule. During the school year, I have flexible availability around pick up and drop off times, and during the summer my hours are even more flexible. Whatever schedule you need, I can probably accommodate (within reason).
