Pet care experience
Hello! I have had pets all of my life. Dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, fish, rats (I know…) I am the go to house/pet sitter for friends and family for the past 15 plus years. I enjoy meeting new pets and caring for them as if they were my own. I have cared for animals that needed scheduled medicine or other medical treatments and am fine doing this with detailed instructions.

I have had the pleasure of working with Amber for the past couple of years when she house / pet sits for me. Amber is great with my dogs and cares for them as they are her own. I believe that environment and structure are important to animals as much as it is to humans. I like to meet pets with their humans before I work with them if that is possible. I try my hardest to make their time away from their families as easy as possible. I love to send updates and pictures if that is ok with the families I work with. Just to give them some peace of mind that everything is going ok.

I appreciate when people let me know what their dog likes or dislikes. What toy is their favorite? Do they get along with other animals? What is their routine? Every breed is different so it’s important for me to know ticks and tricks for individual dogs.
A typical day
I go with the flow with what your pet is used to. Does your pet like to go for a daily walk? We are doing it! Does your pet like to cuddle and watch a movie? We are doing that too! Would you let me take your pet on a day trip to a new spot? We are definitely doing that as well. Prefer that we stay local? Absolutely. I respect the boundaries I am given.

I currently work full time (9a-6p) but have a flexible schedule to stop by and give potty breaks and loves during the day. I am able to stay at your place to ensure your animals are in their own environment to alleviate any stress they might have while you’re away.
