Amber was referred to us by the techs at our veterinarian’s office in June of 2015. We had adopted Olivia, a Boston Terrier, from a rescue and she had a few behavioral issues. At the time we also had a 12 2/2 yr old, 90 pound Boxer named Bailey, who was very overprotective of both me and our new BT, plus he was an excellent judge of character ~ wouldn’t allow just anyone in our home. Bailey took an immediate liking to Amber, and our little Olivia learned to calm down a bit. Amber has since become our dog sitter, we trust her.. and her husband.. implicitly. Bailey passed away that fall, and we adopted another BT from the rescue in the spring of 2016. Sophia is a former Amish puppy mill mama. She came to us full of mistrust and health issues.. Amber gave me some great advice on acclimating her into our household. Both girls LOVE Amber and Mark, I know that they’re in excellent hands while we’re away, and that makes us all very happy. I highly recommend Amber for training and dog sitting.. she’s the Best!!

Amber S. relates to a dog's language very easily, which makes her a terrific dog trainer, and a wonderful dog caregiver! She uses positive reinforcement, through food rewards, or toy rewards, whichever the dog prefers. She has three dogs of her own, all of which have gone through training, and she continues to train them, and socialize them. She's also taken our dog to training, and trained him herself, and managed to get him to be a Therapy Dog! All of these qualities, I feel, are fantastic for being a "responsible and loving dog caregiver!"
